The Priory is a big, beautiful barn wedding venue set in the village of Little Wymondley in Hertfordshire.

We added this canopy of crossed strands of festoon lights to the barn for a recent wedding.

This canopy of festoon lights looked great installed as a series of crosses along the length of the great barn at Lillbrooke Manor.

We seem to have been at Ufton Court a lot in the past year!

We've built up quite a portfolio of different designs, including this one which makes use of the high beams to hang lots of random loops of festoon lights all over the main barn.

This was one of our favourite weddings so far this year!

The theme was a mix of Disney and village fete. The couple and their families made so many thoughtful touches, the barn looked absolutely amazing…

Festoon lights are a great way to light outdoor areas at your wedding. They can be hung overhead or strung informally between trees and buildings for a fabulous, rustic effect. Festoons give a lovely warm light, and the multiple bulbs spread light evenly to eliminate shadows.

Fairy lights are fantastic but if you’re looking for something a little different, festoon lighting is worth considering. It provides good ambient light and the larger bulbs are a stylish touch to suit country fayre, vintage and elegant weddings.
