A canopy of paper lanterns adding colour, light and texture in Carriage Barn at Nether Winchendon House.

There may only be two main beams in the Carriage Barn, but we're not going to let that stop us from hanging some beautiful wedding lighting! In fact the space between the two beams is central to the barn and perfect for suspending canopies of fairy lights, festoons or (as shown here) paper lanterns.

These brightly coloured, lit lanterns added a colourful display above the tables and lit the barn's interior with soft, cosy light. They also have the ability to change colours so they were also used as part of the disco lighting during the evening party - what we like to call "disco lanterns"!
