Here’s our long, multi-swag fairy light canopy in the fabulous Wenman’s Barn at Caswell House.

The lights are tailor-made to fit the barn’s dimensions, suspended from the beams in three long, sweeping swags.

There are so many ways to use fairy lights at weddings and sometimes a simple, bold design works best.

This large canopy of fairy lights at Notley Abbey was hung in one large swag between the two outermost beams creating a stunning, elegant display.

We were recently asked to install a large, high density canopy of fairy lights in the Dawley Barn at Lainston House in Winchester as a way of lowering the ceiling and enabling the modern ceiling lights to be left switched off in the evening.

Back to one of our favourite wedding venues, Bix Manor, to install a large gathered canopy of fairy lights across the main barn where the wedding reception would be held.

The Tudor Barn in Burnham is a large, oak-framed barn with balconies at both ends, making it perfect for an overhead canopy of fairy lights.

A village hall can be a wonderful space for a wedding reception, but they often benefit from a few extra touches to liven them up and to disguise some of the less visually appealing features.

Buckland village hall is set in the beautiful village of Faringdon in Oxfordshire. In this case our brief was to hide the rather functional-looking fluorescent light fittings on the beams while adding some flattering light to the room with fairy lights.

We visited the lovely Lains Barn near Wantage in Oxfordshire for the first time recently. What an amazing venue!

Lovely to be back at Ufton Court again last week, this time to install a large single swag canopy of fairy lights for a wedding ceremony and reception in the main barn.

On a recent visit to the Manor Farm Great Barn in Ruislip we installed dynamic uplighting around the dance floor, along with fairy lights along the barn’s pillars.

We installed this elegant display of fairy lights for a wedding in the carriage barn at Nether Winchendon House.

For added sparkle in the bar area we also wound fairy lights onto the beams in the stables.

Despite torrential rain we installed hundreds of metres of outdoor fairy lights for an absolutely beautiful Asian wedding.

The thin beams at Islip Village Hall are ideal for hanging a chandelier, a fairy light canopy, or both!

For this spring wedding we installed one of our opulent 12 arm white chandeliers at the centre of a fairy light star canopy.

Together they give plenty of flattering, warm light during the day and they can both be dimmed in the evening to set just the right atmosphere.

The conservatory at Denbies Wine Estate is a large space with an enormous glass roof and central water feature.

It’s a fabulous location for a wedding reception and looks amazing with a fairy light canopy, especially after dark when the windows above create additional reflections of the fairy lights for a beautiful, sparkly look.
