We installed this elegant display of fairy lights for a wedding in the carriage barn at Nether Winchendon House.

For added sparkle in the bar area we also wound fairy lights onto the beams in the stables.

We visited the Manor Farm Great Barn in Ruislip again last Saturday to install this overhead canopy of fairy lights suspended between the pillars.

We were recently approached by a bride with a vision of installing a canopy of vintage lampshades for her barn wedding.

The lampshades had already been sourced by scouring the local charity shops – our task was to assemble a custom lighting harness to light them and suspend them in the ceiling.

This gathered fairy light canopy at the Monks Barn in Hurley covered the full length of the main barn and featured a central 12-arm white chandelier as a focal point.

Festoon lights are perfect for lighting a barn wedding. They give an even coverage of flattering, warm white light and can be dimmed to set the mood just right.

The pillars and Minstrel’s Gallery in the Tithe Barn at Great Fosters are perfect for draping with fairy lights.

Ufton Court is one of our favourite venues, and with good reason! The staff are lovely and the barn is perfect for decorating with fairy lights and paper lanterns.

The thin beams at Islip Village Hall are ideal for hanging a chandelier, a fairy light canopy, or both!

For this spring wedding we installed one of our opulent 12 arm white chandeliers at the centre of a fairy light star canopy.

Together they give plenty of flattering, warm light during the day and they can both be dimmed in the evening to set just the right atmosphere.

The conservatory at Denbies Wine Estate is a large space with an enormous glass roof and central water feature.

It’s a fabulous location for a wedding reception and looks amazing with a fairy light canopy, especially after dark when the windows above create additional reflections of the fairy lights for a beautiful, sparkly look.

The ceiling of the Monks Refectory barn at Notley Abbey looks fantastic with a fairy light canopy draped from the beams.

Fairy lights come in all the colours of the rainbow, but by far the most popular are warm white and cool white.

Is it a chandelier? Is it a mirror ball? No, it’s a ChandelirrorBall!

The brief was to supply an impressive centrepiece to hang above the bar for a “super sparkly” party in a marquee. Our mirrorball chandelier was the obvious choice.

If there’s one venue that perfectly suits a fairy light canopy, it’s Loseley Park! We’ve installed several designs there, but this classic single swag canopy is one of the most popular.

The Tithe Barn at Ufton Court is quite large and has relatively high beams. When we were asked to recommend a real wow-factor lighting installation we suggested a double gathered fairy light canopy.

This means running several strands of lights along the length of the barn suspended from four beams, spaced close together on the middle two and wider on the outer two.

We took another trip to Wasing Park recently to install a fairy light star canopy and dynamic LED uplighting in the Castle Barn.
